Our Growth Journey
Founding - 1987
Shree Laxmi Co-Op Credit Society was established in 1987 in Mumbai. It was originally started by a local business group with the goal of providing financial assistance to middle-class families and small traders.
Expansion - 1990-2020
In its early years, the institution gradually opened branches in different parts of Mumbai. Over time, it expanded to several cities in Maharashtra, growing its customer base and diversifying its services.
New Leadership - 2024
In 2024, our current management team acquired Shree Laxmi Credit Society and transformed it into Shree Laxmi Credit Co-op Bank with a license from the Reserve Bank of India (RBI). Under the new leadership, we are committed to providing better financial solutions to our customers while expanding modern banking services.
Our goal is to develop Shree Laxmi Credit Co-Op Bank as an innovative and customer-centric financial institution that can become a major player in the Indian cooperative banking sector.
